About Me

            All I ever wanted to be when I was a child was an artist. My Mum always said that I was never happier than with a pencil and paper in hand or covered in paint. 

            I was born in Australia, but our family relocated to the UK when I was 8 due to my Dads English roots, and we returned to Geelong when I was 17. I then studied Graphic Communication at the Gordon TAFE and later at the Australian Academy of Design, enjoying design as a craft. After many successes and career highlights as a graphic designer, I decided to take a chance and become a full time artist in 2023. 

            My creative journey, spanning diverse styles and ventures, is distilled into an exploration of joy and beauty. I have been lucky enough to have had solo gallery exhibitions, contributed to group art shows, and collaborated on many artistic projects with fellow creatives. Over the last 2 years, it has been my pleasure to lead painting classes and Paint+Sip events all around regional Victoria, which has allowed me to share my love of painting with my community. Inspired by these experiences, I embarked on the study path to become an Art Therapist last year also, adding depth to my practice and finding great fulfilment in guiding others through the transformative and joyful power of art.
